Brian Barker is a poet and collage artist from Denver, Colorado. His collages have been selected for the National Collage Society’s annual juried show three times and have been featured in Kolaj, Denver Quarterly, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Jet Fuel Review, and Visible Binary. He is the author of three books of poetry—Vanishing Acts, The Black Ocean, and The Animal Gospels—and teaches at the University of Colorado Denver, where he is a poetry editor of Copper Nickel.
