Welcome to diode, volume 6, number 2.  This is our seventeenth issue, and while that number may not sound like one that would be worthy of any particular commemoration, consider this:  We’ve published twenty to twenty-five poets in each issue, one to five poems per poet.  That means that this issue likely contains the thousandth poem we’ve published.  And that number is a worthy one.

So read them all, and see if you can find the one that is that magic number.  We can’t figure it out.

If you’re new to diode, even if you’re not, and would like to browse through previous issues, note that on our “previous issues” page, we’ve finally added a “search” box to make that browsing easier.  Please let us know if you have any problems finding what you’re looking for—we haven’t run across any yet, but there are only two of us and hundreds or more of you.
